- Dry roast the sesame seeds in a pan until they turn light golden and set aside.
- In the same pan, heat the oil and add cumin seeds and mustard seeds.
- Once they start spluttering, add the chopped green chilies and sauté for a minute.
- Add turmeric powder and salt, mixing well.
- Stir in the roasted sesame seeds and mix until everything is well combined.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Serve this mix on steamed rice, mix with dal, or use it as a side for roti or naan. It can also be added to yogurt or salads for extra crunch. Store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 4-5 days.
