Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken, cream of chicken soup, milk, mixed vegetables, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Arrange the tater tots on top of the chicken mixture in a single layer.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Cut into squares and serve hot. Pair with a simple side salad or steamed green beans. A dollop of sour cream or a sprinkle of green onions works well too. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, warm in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until heated through, about 15-20 minutes.
