Ingredients
  

Casserole Filling
  • 1 pound cooked chicken, shredded Use rotisserie chicken for time-saving.
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup Can substitute with cream of mushroom or celery.
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables Thaw slightly for even cooking.
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • to taste none Salt and pepper Adjust seasoning before baking.
Topping
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Can substitute with Monterey Jack for different taste.
  • 1 package frozen tater tots Bake until golden brown.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, mixed vegetables, milk, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly in a greased baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Arrange the frozen tater tots evenly over the cheese layer.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
  2. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Cool the casserole to room temperature before storing. Cover with foil or store in an airtight container. Keep in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until hot.
