Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well until smooth.
- Pour the sweet potato filling into the pre-made pie crust.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45–50 minutes, or until the filling is set and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
Serve at room temperature or chilled. Top with whipped cream or ice cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. To store, cover lightly at room temperature for up to 2 days, in the fridge for 4-5 days, or freeze tightly for up to 1 month.
