  • 2 tablespoons Calabrian chili paste Adjust based on spice preference.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 whole lemon, sliced
  • to taste Fresh herbs (such as rosemary or thyme) for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the Calabrian chili paste, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken, making sure to coat it well.
  4. Place the chicken in a baking dish and add lemon slices on top.
Cooking
  1. Roast in the oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and crispy on the outside.
  2. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving and enjoy your flavorful dish!

Notes

For more flavor, consider marinating the chicken for a few hours. You can add vegetables like bell peppers or zucchini for a one-pan meal.
