Preparation
- Gather all ingredients and a large bowl.
- Put ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, chopped onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in the bowl. Mix well with your hands or a spoon.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf that fits your slow cooker.
- Place the loaf in the slow cooker. Spread a little ketchup on top if you like.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until the meatloaf is cooked through.
- Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
Cool the meatloaf to room temperature before storing. Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Freeze slices in a freezer bag for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge before reheating.
