Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.25 cup ketchup
  • 0.25 cup chopped onion
  • 1 unit egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather all ingredients and a large bowl.
  2. Put ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, chopped onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in the bowl. Mix well with your hands or a spoon.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf that fits your slow cooker.
  4. Place the loaf in the slow cooker. Spread a little ketchup on top if you like.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until the meatloaf is cooked through.
  2. Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

Cool the meatloaf to room temperature before storing. Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Freeze slices in a freezer bag for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge before reheating.
