Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into medium-sized meatballs and place them in the slow cooker.
Cooking
- Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
Assembly
- Once cooked, slice the hoagie rolls and place meatballs inside.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and place under the broiler for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Cool leftover meatballs and sauce before storing. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge before reheating. Toast the inside of the rolls to prevent sogginess.
