  • 1/4 cup honey Adjust according to sweetness preference.
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds For garnishing.
  • 2 stalks green onions, chopped For garnishing.

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  2. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and stir it back into the sauce.
Serving
  1. Serve the chicken garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for a few hours before cooking. To add a spicy kick, include red pepper flakes. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days or frozen for longer storage.
