Preparation
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil to create the glaze.
- Place chicken drumsticks in the slow cooker and pour the glaze over them.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Stir it into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes to thicken the sauce.
- Once done, remove chicken from the slow cooker and serve garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
Notes
For best flavor, marinate chicken in the glaze for a few hours or overnight. You can also add vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli during cooking for a complete meal.
