Preparation
- In a bowl, toss beef strips with cornstarch, soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Marinate for 15 minutes.
Cooking
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
- Add marinated beef strips to the pan and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add sliced bell pepper and onion, stir-frying until they are tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
- Return the beef to the pan, mix well and cook for another 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Serving
- Serve hot with steamed rice, noodles, or steamed vegetables. Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
Let leftovers cool before storing in an airtight container. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat on medium heat.
