- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cubed bread, vegan breakfast sausage, and vegan cheese.
- In another bowl, whisk together the plant milk, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the wet mixture over the bread mixture, stirring to ensure everything is coated.
- Let it sit for 10 minutes to absorb the liquid.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is golden brown.
- Optionally, garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
Use day-old bread to soak up the liquid better. Taste the wet mix and adjust seasoning as needed. For a crisp top, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end, watching closely. Add chopped veggies for more color and nutrition.
