Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 package puff pastry Keep cold until ready to use.
  • 1 pound sausage meat Can substitute with premade sausage links.
  • 1 each egg For egg wash.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season sausage mixture.
Honey Mustard Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard Can substitute with whole grain mustard.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into rectangles.
  3. In a bowl, combine the sausage meat with salt and pepper.
  4. Place a spoonful of sausage mixture onto one edge of the pastry rectangle.
  5. Roll the pastry over the sausage and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Brush with beaten egg.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Making the Sauce
  1. Mix honey and Dijon mustard in a small bowl.

Notes

Serve warm from the oven with honey mustard sauce on the side for dipping. Can add a small green salad or roasted vegetables.
