Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into rectangles.
- In a bowl, combine the sausage meat with salt and pepper.
- Place a spoonful of sausage mixture onto one edge of the pastry rectangle.
- Roll the pastry over the sausage and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush with beaten egg.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Making the Sauce
- Mix honey and Dijon mustard in a small bowl.
Notes
Serve warm from the oven with honey mustard sauce on the side for dipping. Can add a small green salad or roasted vegetables.
