Ingredients
  

For the Salmon Balls
  • 1 lb salmon fillets (cooked and flaked) Fresh salmon is recommended for best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions (chopped)
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill (chopped)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For the Avocado Sauce
  • 1 large avocado Use ripe, fresh avocado for best results.
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into small balls.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the salmon balls until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
Avocado Sauce
  1. For the avocado sauce, blend the avocado, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and salt until smooth.
Serving
  1. Serve the salmon balls warm with the creamy avocado sauce on the side.

Notes

You can customize the texture by baking the salmon balls instead of frying. Add cooked quinoa or rice for added nutrition. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for 2 months.
