Preparation
- Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
Cooking
- In a saucepan over low heat, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Stir until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the chopped nuts, mini marshmallows, and vanilla extract if using.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
Serving
- Once set, lift the fudge out of the dish using the parchment paper, and cut into squares.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Can be frozen for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge before serving. Let it sit a few minutes at room temperature before eating if it is very cold. Use low heat to avoid burning the chocolate and stir constantly for a smooth texture.
