Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the Ritz crackers in a single layer.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring until combined.
- Pour the toffee mixture over the crackers, spreading it evenly.
Baking
- Bake for about 5-7 minutes, or until bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Let the chocolate melt for a few minutes, then spread it evenly over the toffee.
- Sprinkle with sea salt, if desired, and let cool.
- Once set, break into pieces and enjoy!
Notes
Use a rimmed baking sheet so the toffee does not drip out. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
