  • 1 package Ritz crackers
  • 1/2 cup Butter Unsalted
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar Packed
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips Semi-sweet
  • 1 teaspoon Sea salt Optional, for sprinkling

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the Ritz crackers in a single layer.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring until combined.
  4. Pour the toffee mixture over the crackers, spreading it evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 5-7 minutes, or until bubbly.
  2. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  3. Let the chocolate melt for a few minutes, then spread it evenly over the toffee.
  4. Sprinkle with sea salt, if desired, and let cool.
  5. Once set, break into pieces and enjoy!

Notes

Use a rimmed baking sheet so the toffee does not drip out. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
