Oven Baked Ribs

Ingredients
  

Pork Ribs
  • 2 racks racks of pork ribs
Barbecue Sauce
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce Use your favorite sauce for the glaze.
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil, meat side up.
Cooking
  1. Cover the ribs with another piece of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours.
  2. Remove the ribs from the oven, uncover, and brush barbecue sauce liberally on both sides.
  3. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 30 minutes, uncovered, to caramelize the sauce.
  4. Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, and then slice and serve.

Notes

Let the ribs cool to room temperature. Wrap them well in foil or place in an airtight container. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days. To freeze, wrap tightly and freeze up to 3 months. Reheat in a low oven (about 300°F / 150°C) until warm.
