Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brush chicken breasts with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Place chicken in a baking dish and pour barbecue sauce over the top, making sure to coat evenly.
Cooking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C).
- For a caramelized finish, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let sit for a few minutes before serving.
Serving
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
Let the chicken cool to room temperature (no more than two hours). Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days, or freeze in a freezer-safe container for up to 2 months. Thaw in the fridge before reheating.
