- Add carrots and potatoes, and cook for an additional 30 minutes.

Notes
Serve hot in deep bowls. This stew pairs well with crusty bread or steamed rice. Add a simple green salad on the side for freshness. Brown the mutton thoroughly for better flavor, and do not rush the simmering for tender meat.
