  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened Let butter soften for easier mixing.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic enhances flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano Adds herb flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Works in combination with fresh garlic.
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes Optional, for spice.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Primary cheese for gooey texture.
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese Adds sharpness.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Enhances flavor profile.
  • to taste fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  2. Slice off the tops of the bread rolls to create a bowl shape. Hollow out the center of each roll, leaving a thick border.
  3. In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, oregano, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Mix well to create a garlic butter spread.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture inside the hollowed-out bread bowls, coating the sides and bottom.
  5. In another bowl, mix the mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheeses. Pack the cheese tightly into each bread bowl.
  6. Place the stuffed bread bowls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is golden.
  7. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

Serve hot for gooey cheese. Pairs well with salad, marinara sauce, or soup. Avoid microwaving leftovers to prevent sogginess.
