  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend preferred)
  • 12 oz cooked pasta (rotini, penne, or shells)
  • 6 strips thick-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked; drain excess grease.
  2. Add the cooked pasta and crumbled bacon to the skillet.
  3. Stir in the heavy cream and garlic powder, mixing until well combined.
  4. Gradually add in the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For a cheeseburger feel, add extra shredded cheese or pickle slices on top. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently with a splash of cream.
