Ingredients
  

Marinade
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder For added flavor
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb Tender marinated steak cubes Use cuts like ribeye, sirloin or flank.
  • 4 cups Cooked rice Keep warm prior to serving.
  • 1 cup Spicy cream sauce Mix of mayo, sriracha, and lime or vinegar.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, gochujang, honey, sesame oil, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  2. Marinate the steak cubes in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Cook the marinated steak in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned.
  2. Serve the steak cubes over cooked rice.
  3. Drizzle with spicy cream sauce and enjoy!
Serving
  1. Place a scoop of hot rice in a bowl. Top with the cooked steak cubes. Add the spicy cream sauce over the top. Optionally add sliced green onions, sesame seeds, or a fried egg.

Notes

Marinate steak for at least 30 minutes for good flavor. Cut steak into even cubes for even cooking. Use medium-high heat for a good sear. For best texture, reheat steak gently in a pan.
