- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix together the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and olive oil.
- Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then coat them in the honey garlic mixture.
Cooking
- If using the oven, place the chicken in a baking dish and pour the remaining sauce over the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes until fully cooked.
- If using a skillet, sear the chicken thighs skin-side down for about 5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 5-10 minutes until cooked through.
Serving
- Garnish with green onions if desired and serve warm.
Notes
For added depth of flavor, marinate the chicken thighs in the honey garlic mixture for a few hours before cooking. If you like a spicy kick, consider adding red pepper flakes to the sauce. Make sure not to overcrowd the pan if you're using a skillet; this will help the chicken brown nicely. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
