  • 1 lb Ground beef, lean Use 85% lean for better texture.
  • 5 cups Mushrooms, sliced White or brown mushrooms work well.
  • 1 tsp Parsley, dried For added flavor.
  • 3 units Eggs Beaten.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • 2 tbsp Butter For greasing the baking dish.
  • 1 cup Cheese, grated Use your favorite type.
  • 6 oz Cream cheese Use room temperature for easier mixing.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. In the same skillet, add the mushrooms and cook until softened.
  4. Stir in the dried parsley, salt, and pepper.
  5. In a bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the cream cheese until well combined.
  6. Add the beef and mushroom mixture to the bowl and mix well.
  7. Grease a baking dish with butter and pour in the mixture.
  8. Top with grated cheese.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the mixture is set and the top is golden.
  10. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Cool the bake to room temperature. Cover and keep in the fridge for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze in a sealed container for up to 2 months. Thaw in the fridge before reheating. Reheat in the oven at 325°F (160°C) until warm, or microwave in short bursts.
