Ingredients
  

For the Tacos
  • 1 lb ground turkey Lean or extra-lean variety
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For browning
  • 1 tbsp chili powder For seasoning
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper Optional for heat
  • 8 small tortillas For serving
  • to taste toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, cheese, sour cream) As desired
For the Stir-Fry
  • 1 cup bell peppers Chopped
  • 1 cup broccoli Chopped
  • 1 cup carrots Sliced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce For flavoring
  • 1 clove garlic Minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger Minced
For the Chili
  • 1 can diced tomatoes With juice
  • 1 can kidney beans Drained and rinsed
  • 2 cup chicken broth Or vegetable broth
  • 1 tbsp chili powder For flavor
  • 1 tbsp cumin

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Brown ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add spices (chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and paprika) to the turkey while cooking.
  3. Prepare toppings and warm tortillas for serving.
Cooking
  1. For stir-fry, in a separate skillet, heat oil, add ground turkey and cook until browned, then add veggies and season with soy sauce and garlic.
  2. For chili, sauté onions and garlic, then add ground turkey. Once browned, mix in diced tomatoes, kidney beans, and broth. Let simmer.
Serving
  1. Serve tacos with desired toppings.
  2. Serve stir-fry over rice or noodles.
  3. Serve chili with cornbread or crusty bread.
