Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, for cooking

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, gently combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, parsley, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Avoid overmixing.
  2. Once combined, roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
Cooking
  1. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned on all sides.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low, add your choice of sauce, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Handle with care when mixing to avoid dense meatballs. Customize flavors with your favorite spices and sauces. Great for meal prepping and freezing.
