Method
Cooking the Beef and Sauce
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until onion is translucent.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
Cooking the Pasta
- Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and add to the skillet.
- Stir well to combine and heat through.
Notes
Cool to room temperature before storing. It's best enjoyed hot, topped with grated cheese.
