Main Ingredients
  • 4 large large flour tortillas Preferred size for folding.
  • 1 lb ground beef Cooked and seasoned.
  • 1 packet taco seasoning Follow package instructions for seasoning.
  • 1 cup refried beans Spread in the center of the tortilla.
  • 1 cup tortilla chips Use sturdy chips.
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce For crunch.
  • 1 medium diced tomatoes For freshness.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Use a cheese blend for flavor.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream For creaminess.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For grilling.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with taco seasoning according to package instructions.
  2. Lay a large flour tortilla flat and spread a layer of refried beans in the center.
  3. Add a portion of the cooked beef on top of the beans.
  4. Place tortilla chips over the beef, followed by lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and a dollop of sour cream.
  5. Fold the edges of the tortilla towards the center to create a pocket, securing the filling inside.
  6. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Cooking
  1. Place the folded crunchwrap seam-side down in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  2. Remove from skillet and slice in half before serving.

Notes

Serve hot with extra salsa or hot sauce on the side. Pair with rice, beans, or a simple salad. For storage, cool to room temperature before wrapping each crunchwrap in foil or plastic wrap. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
