Preparation
  1. Shred the Brussels sprouts and rinse them under cold water.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add shredded Brussels sprouts and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden and crispy.
  3. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. If desired, add minced garlic for additional flavor in the last minute of cooking.
  5. Remove from heat and toss with grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Serve hot as a side dish or light main course.

Notes

For maximum crispiness, make sure to dry the shredded Brussels sprouts well after rinsing them. Use a large skillet to give the sprouts enough space to brown nicely. You can experiment with different toppings, such as nuts or dried fruits, to add more flavor and texture.
