Chicken Ingredients
  • 1 kg chicken pieces Use your choice of chicken parts
Coating Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs Beaten
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • as needed Oil for frying Use a neutral oil with a high smoke point

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  3. Dip each chicken piece in the egg, then coat with the flour mixture, and finally cover with breadcrumbs.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Fry the chicken pieces until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  3. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes

For best results, pat the chicken dry before coating and fry in batches to keep oil hot. You can also bake the chicken at 200°C (400°F) for a healthier version.
