Creamy Shrimp Cheese Rolls

Ingredients
  

For the filling
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened Soften cream cheese first for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
For the rolls
  • 8 pieces egg roll wrappers or spring roll sheets
  • 1 large egg For sealing
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs Panko gives a nicer crunch.
  • Vegetable oil for frying Keep oil at 350°F for even cooking.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Lightly sauté shrimp in a pan with salt, pepper, and garlic powder until just pink, about 2–3 minutes. Set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella, parsley, and cooked shrimp (chopped if preferred).
  3. Spoon filling onto wrappers, roll tightly, and seal with egg wash.
  4. Dredge each roll in flour, dip in egg, and coat in panko.
Frying
  1. Fry in hot oil (350°F) for 3–4 minutes until golden and crispy.
Serving
  1. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Pat shrimp dry before cooking to avoid extra moisture. Do not overfill the wrappers to prevent leaks. Fry in batches to keep oil temperature steady.
