  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 2 cloves Garlic Chopped
  • 1 cup Mushrooms Sliced
  • 1 Onion Chopped
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley Chopped
  • 1 can Tomatoes
  • 1 package Gnocchi
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Grated

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in mushrooms, canned tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. In the meantime, cook the gnocchi according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  6. Stir heavy cream into the meat mixture and cook for 2-3 minutes until creamy.
  7. Add cooked gnocchi to the skillet and mix well.
Serving
  1. Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.

Notes

For best taste, use fresh Parmesan. Brown the beef well for more flavor and avoid overcooking the gnocchi. If the sauce is too thick, add a little pasta water or milk. For a richer flavor, let the sauce simmer a bit longer.
