Ingredients
  

Main ingredients
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Use freshly grated for best results.
  • for garnish Fresh parsley

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat the chicken dry and season both sides with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Cooking Chicken
  1. Add the chicken to the hot skillet. Cook until golden and cooked through, about 6–7 minutes per side.
  2. Remove the chicken and set it aside.
Making Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  2. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a low simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan until the sauce is smooth.
Finishing
  1. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the chicken. Let it warm for a minute.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

Cool the dish to room temperature before storing in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently. Simmer the sauce gently to avoid splitting.
