  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Use room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans Chop small for even distribution.
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped Can substitute with chives for a milder taste.
Seasonings
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tsp black pepper Omit for a milder version for kids.
For Serving
  • Tortilla chips or crackers

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese with cranberry sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  3. Fold in chopped pecans and green onions.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving dish and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Serving
  1. Serve cold with tortilla chips or crackers. It can also be spread on crostini or used as a sandwich spread.

Notes

Cover the dip and keep it in the fridge. It stays good for 3–4 days. Stir before serving if it firms up. Do not freeze; the texture will change.
