Preparation
- Slice your baguette into thick rounds—perfect for loading! Lightly toast each piece in a hot skillet with a drizzle of olive oil for that crispy golden crunch.
- In a skillet, combine melted butter and garlic. Add the shrimp, a pinch of salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook until shrimp are tender and juicy.
- In a bowl, combine the cooked shrimp, crab meat, mozzarella, Parmesan, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
Broiling
- Pile the seafood-cheese mixture generously on each toast slice.
- Place loaded bread slices on a baking sheet and broil for 3–5 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling and slightly golden. Finish with a sprinkle of parsley.
Notes
Serve warm so the cheese stays melty. Add lemon wedges or a light salad to balance the richness. Store leftovers in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
