Ingredients
  

Pizza Base
  • 1 unit premade pizza crust Use gluten-free crust if needed.
Toppings
  • 1 cup refried beans Warm for easy spreading.
  • 1 cup taco seasoned ground beef or shredded chicken Drain excess grease if using ground beef.
  • 1 cup salsa Use regular or hot salsa as preferred.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend) Mix of cheeses recommended for better flavor.
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup sour cream For serving.
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce For serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Spread the refried beans evenly over the pizza crust.
  3. Top with taco seasoned ground beef or shredded chicken.
  4. Spoon salsa over the top.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over everything.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  2. Remove from oven and top with diced tomatoes, black olives, and green onions.
Serving
  1. Cut into slices and serve hot with sour cream and shredded lettuce on the side.
  2. You can also add hot sauce, chopped cilantro, or lime wedges for extra flavor.

Notes

Cool the pizza to room temperature before storing. Store in an airtight container or wrap in foil for up to 3 days. Reheat in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 8-10 minutes or in a skillet for a crisp crust.
