Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb Flank steak Slice thin against the grain for the best texture.
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Fresh, minced for best flavor.
  • 1 large Onion Sliced.
Sauce and Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce Use low-sodium if preferred.
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil For cooking.

Method

Preparation
  1. Slice the flank steak into thin strips.
  2. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper. Add the beef and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned.
  4. Add sliced onions, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper. Stir-fry until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Pour in the beef broth and stir to combine.
  6. Drizzle with sesame oil before serving.

Notes

Slice the beef against the grain for tender bites. Pat the meat dry before marinating for better browning. Do not overcook the peppers; they should remain slightly crisp. Use high heat for a quick stir-fry.
