- Heat oil in a pan. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add green chillies and ginger-garlic paste. Cook until the raw smell disappears.
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft and mushy.
- Now add turmeric, red chilli, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add chicken liver and sauté on high flame for 4-5 minutes.
- Lower the flame, cover, and cook for another 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Sprinkle garam masala, mix gently, and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
Notes
Serve hot with steamed rice, chapati, or naan. It also works as a side with salad and raita. For a fuller meal, add a simple dal and vegetables. Cool the dish to room temperature before storing in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
