  • 6 slices Ham Use thinly sliced ham for easier rolling.
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese Can substitute with Gruyère or mozzarella.
  • 1 sheet Pizza dough, store-bought Follow package instructions for baking.
  • 1 piece Egg Beaten for egg wash.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season to preference.
  • to taste Fresh herbs Optional, for extra flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven according to the pizza dough package instructions.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
Filling
  1. Layer the cooked chicken, ham, and Swiss cheese over the dough.
  2. Season with fresh herbs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Roll up the dough tightly to enclose the filling, sealing the edges.
  4. Beat the egg and brush it over the stromboli for a golden finish.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown.
  2. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

Let the stromboli rest for 5 minutes after baking before slicing. Serve with mustard, ranch, or a light cream sauce on the side.
