  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Use warm, fully cooked chicken for best texture.
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce Store-bought sauce works well.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Can be substituted with provolone or Parmesan.
  • 2 tablespoons garlic butter Brush on the crust for flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley For garnish.
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and place it on a baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with the Alfredo sauce, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread the chicken Alfredo mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  5. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Brush the crust sides of the bread with garlic butter.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  2. Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped parsley, and slice to serve.

Notes

Serve hot right after you bake it. It goes well with a green salad or steamed vegetables. Wrap any leftovers tight in foil or place in an airtight container, and keep in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven.
