Ingredients
  

For the filling
  • 1 lb Ground beef Seasoned to taste
  • 1 small Onion, chopped For flavor and texture
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup For sweetness
  • 1 tbsp Yellow mustard For tanginess
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce Enhances flavor
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded Use cheese that melts well
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil For cooking the onion
  • to taste Salt & pepper For seasoning
For the pocket
  • 1 8 oz can Crescent roll dough For making the pockets

Method
 

Preparation and Cooking
  1. Preheat the oven according to the crescent roll dough package instructions.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until softened.
  3. Add ground beef, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper; cook for a few more minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese until melted.
  6. Roll out the crescent roll dough and cut into squares.
  7. Place a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center of each square.
  8. Fold the dough over to create pockets and seal the edges.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown.
  10. Serve warm.

Notes

Serve warm with ketchup, mustard, or pickles on the side. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Freeze baked pockets in a freezer bag for up to 2 months.
