Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the flour, cheddar cheese, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and parsley.
- In a separate bowl, mix the milk, egg, and softened butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a sticky dough forms. If the dough is too dry, add a splash of milk.
- Drop 8-10 mounds of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
Baking
- Bake for 12-14 minutes.
- Meanwhile, mix the topping ingredients (melted butter, parsley, and garlic powder) in a small bowl.
- Brush each biscuit with the topping and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
Notes
Serve warm for best taste. They are perfect with soup, salad, pasta, or seafood.
