  • 4 pieces chicken thighs Skin-on is recommended for juiciness.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Can be substituted with teriyaki sauce.
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • to taste Salt and pepper

  • sesame seeds For garnish.
  • green onions For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, olive oil, garlic, ground ginger, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the glaze over them, ensuring they are well coated.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the glaze is caramelized.
  2. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired, and serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

Marinate chicken thighs for extra flavor if time permits. Use bone-in thighs for more juiciness. Ensure even cooking by using thighs of similar size. Always check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer.
