Ingredients
  

Cauliflower and Batter
  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 cup flour (or gluten-free alternative)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Coating and Sauce
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • to taste sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt to create a batter.
  3. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, then coat with breadcrumbs.
Cooking
  1. Place the coated florets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  2. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Finishing Touch
  1. In a separate bowl, mix sesame oil and soy sauce.
  2. Toss the fried cauliflower wings in the sauce before serving.
  3. Garnish with sesame seeds and enjoy!

Notes

Serve them hot for the best crunch. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes to restore crispness.
